I decided to try this auto shop called Pep Boys when my 2008 Chevy Impala was having issues on 7/24/2025. 

I dropped my car off at 7AM on this day. Pep Boys did not even look at my car even though I called several times. I was given the excuse that the master mechanic had gone home because of a child delivery.

I don't know if this was true but the lady on the phone was friendly but still had my car an entire day and did not even look at it.  This was concerning for me I don't want my car sitting around and this also presents issues on getting to and from work for me.

On the next day the shop  never looked at my car never solved any of the issues I asked about.

I got tons of excuses why they could not look at my car. I was pretty mad about the entire event.

I am not really sure they even checked my car out or just did the work I asked to be done.

I can not really recommend this shop you may want to shop around!

Since we started this duel we have learned a few things about both companies. Door Dash also allows the delivery drivers do the food orders for the customers at the restaurant or the customer can do the order online and pay for the food and the delivery as well.
