We drove up to the campground on Sept 14th 2024 and I have to say it was amazing.

The campground is very reasonable at $23 for no electricity and $32 for electrical. The ranger was very helpful, and we had a great night with an open fire and tents. The Caverns are on the Route 66 on I 44 more towards Saint Louis.

We did not go to the cave or gift shop this trip.

If you are going on a Route 66 or just want an adventure go to the City of Cuba,


You will want to exit to see the 2nd largest rocking chair in America. After that check out downtown. You will want to go downtown Cuba there are a lot of murals you will want to find and explore.
