Would you Wager on Entertainment Wrestling if it was legal by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik

WOULD YOU WAGER MONEY ON THE WWE or AEW IF IT WAS LEGAL?

Recently the WWE ( World Wrestling Entertainment Company) announced it would like LEGAL WAGERING on WWE matches. WWE has reached out to three states that recently joined the growing number of states allowing sports wagering. WWE contacted the Michigan, Colorado, and Indiana sports regulation committees.

The WWE along with many other ENTERTAINMENT WRESTLING companies like the AEW ( ALL ELITE WRESTLING) however have long not been considered a true sport because the matches are scripted. Matches are PRE-DETERMINED who will win!

It has been a part of Entertainment Wrestling for years for Fans and fellow Bloggers, Media, Podcast Shows, and other outlets to figure out just where the STORY LINE is going and who is going to win the matches.
The issue becomes could the WWE or any other company keep the results from leaking?
The WWE seems to believe it can and even has enlisted a company called EY (Earnest and Young) to secure match results so they will not leak.
Also the WWE would not inform the entertainers who were going to win only a few hours before the match started.

However I am a fan of sports wagering after all I had a 10 year career working in Nevada sports books and a 3 year career operating my own sports investment company in Reno, Nevada. I wrote 2 books on my experience and you can find them here:

WWE has been working with a company called DRAFTKINGS at some of the major pay per views and events with major matches. On Draftkings you can enter pick certain outcomes and place money on matches. Draftkings is legal in most places but works off pools and is considered Fantasy Sports.

I myself have been making ODDS on matches for most WWE PAY PER VIEWS for years just for FUN and Entertainment.

In ENGLAND you actually can wager on Entertainment Sports and all kinds of other events.

So I do not see why it should not be legalized here in the USA.

However like I stated above keeping the outcome of the matches a secret and guarded I think would be a hard task for the WWE or any other company. The WWE fans or any other wrestling fans are a big part of the entertainment and love to follow the story lines and figure out where they are going. This leads to many outlets doing blogs, stories, and news on some of the matches. I am not sure the WWE could really keep the results hidden because if you're a fan you can follow the story lines and pretty much have a pretty good idea where the WWE or any other company is going with the matches. I feel the WWE would really have to start to figure out how to keep the fans and media guessing!

It might make a better product in the end run, but another issue is WWE is currently for sale according to the company some bids are happening in April 2023. Will the new owners want wagering on the WWE or would any other company like the AEW or Impact Wrestling, or ROH want to participate in wagering.

I admit I kinda love the idea and would love to offer a web page to offer wagering on wrestling I often have wanted to find a way to do it!
