Annie and I have been living a Keto Lifestyle and we have enjoyed many benefits from the lifestyle. We decided to share our story so you can experience the best health and happiness that you can.

Recently on KY 3 News on 3.6.23 did a segment on the KETO DIET saying a study was done in the UK linking the Diet with Heart Disease.

The issue is the NEWS ROOM did not verify any of the information or provide information on the study. There is no mention of who did the study or how it was conducted and where the documentation for the study is.

It is doing stories like this without research that gives KETO a bad image.

So in this blog I am disputing the findings unless KY 3 can provide this information they should not release information on a LIFESTYLE that helps prevent diseases!

These are proven SCIENTIFIC facts about KETO:

Supports weight loss, Has shown to improve acne, May reduce risk of certain cancers, May improve heart health, May protect brain functions, May prevent Seizures, May improve PCOS symptoms, May help fight diabetes,

KETO HAS BEEN PROVEN through multiple studies and research TO HELP WITH:

Epilepsy, Type 2 Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome, Obesity, Gout, Certain Cancers, Migraines, PCOS, Autism, Dementia and Alzheimer disease, and Parkinson disease.

In the study above they used the term KETO LIKE. I am not sure what KETO LIKE is but I would love to see exactly the food that was used in the study. Is there any documentation of that?

Also in the study they did not follow the KETO guidelines according to reports I saw and read they used higher ratios in the study than in the actual KETO DIET.

So in short they did a report not following the KETO Guidelines, calling it KETO LIKE!

Also they did not provide any information on if any one in the study got healthier, or got worse, or even had any signs of a HEART issue during the study.

Another thing that was not included in the study is the fact there are 2 types of Cholesterol.

There is what is called LDL that is considered BAD, and HDL that is considered GOOD!

There is a way to test the levels of each with an AT HOME LIPID and CHOLESTEROL TEST.

It does not state in the report if the study tested the subjects during the research or how often or what the results had shown. Keto does increase cholesterol overall but it matters if it is BAD or GOOD being increased!

I am being up front with you there are arguments from many different studies and research that has been done on this subject: Some say KETO increases the BAD LDL levels, and some say KETO increases the GOOD HDL levels.

As I always state I am not a health provider plus I have very little medical training so I recommend you consult a Health Care Provider!

In closing I feel that the TV stations that provided this report did not do the whole story or follow up with a proper investigation into the reports.

Eating Healthy will help you live a HAPPIER and HEALTHIER LIFE!
