Today 1/6/2023 it was announced by the WWE ( WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT) that Vince McMahon would return to the company as CEO. Vince McMahon is the major shareholder of the company. As of today the WWE stock on the NYSE drove the stock up to $84.27. This was a $12 jump in the stock. Also with the return of Vince McMahon the rumor and speculation of a sale of the WWE started online.

SO WHO WOULD BUY THE WWE POSSIBLY?

Stephanie McMahon and Paul Levesque

Stephanie is the real life daughter of Vince McMahon and has been operating the company as CEO recently along with her husband known as TRIPLE HHH Paul Levesque. The power couple has been on fire within the WWE. The fans have been happy and the shows have been outstanding both on USA and FOX with flagship shows Raw and Smackdown. 

Could it be possible her father would hand her the majority stocks to run and own the company?

Dwayne The Rock Johnson

Last year Dwayne The Rock Johnson bought the XFL and his company could possibly be able to buy the WWE. Though his holdings according to reports are only around 800 million dollars this may not be enough to actually buy the WWE.

Tony Khan

Tony Khan is the owner of AEW ( ALL ELITE WRESTING) and ROH (RING OF HONOR). 

Would it be possible Tony Khan would buy the WWE ?

FOX NETWORK

This would most likely be the top candidate to purchase the WWE. WWE and Fox have developed a pretty good relationship. The speculation is that FOX would be interested in the purchase.

AMAZON or DISNEY or COMCAST or NETFLIX

All of these companies are possibilities as well. WWE has some type of relationship with all of them.

USA NETWORK

The USA NETWORK has not been mentioned in any of the articles or speculations but it could be a possibility

UFC

There had been some rumors about the UFC purchasing WWE.

Currently there is no news on the WWE Company being for sale but a company that evaluates the stocks and value of the WWE Company released a statement saying that they expect a sale to come.

SAUDI ARABIA

Recently a report came out that WWE may entertain the idea of selling the company to the SAUDI ARABIA PUBLIC INVESTMENT FUND.

As  we will all have to wait and see if a Sale of WWE is coming in 2023!
