Our Tomsik RV Life Episode 1 OUR STORY

Hello RV Fans and Followers of Our Tomsik Rv Life.

So we are busy getting ready for our 2020 journey but our 1995 Ford Cheatue Sports needed some work. Over the years of sitting the Master Cylinder and Calipers and brake pads had to be fixed.

One thing about RV life especially motorhomes or buses it is really important to keep maintenance on parts. We just had to shell out over 700 dollars to repair our system just so we could go on our little adventure.

Also we have to rent a travel trailer for our stuff in storage another expense of $800 dollars.

The truth is we really are stretching it thin as far as financial wise to even do this final move.

We have to cover nearly 2300 miles, possibly rent an RV spot and storage space if our home loan is not final by the time we get there.

I have found a position and that is the good news I am to start there on 1/14/2020.

Annie and I have been saving money but here we are going into the final stretch stressing over the one thing that everyone concerns are with..MONEY.

So you may ask what is our overall plan and why we are moving to Missouri in 2020.

We have been in Reno for 5 years ending in 2019, however my older daughter and her family recently all moved to Saint Louis Missouri.

We have had some successes and some downfalls during this time in Reno.

With the raising of cost of living and property cost make Reno a little hard to live in or buy property.

Family illness with my wife Annie making it so she can't work, and loss of income from me has made the struggle even harder.

Something had to change!

With our family relocated really we had no ties to Reno.

So we started researching Missouri.

Annie and I spent years doing my sports business and traveled many States and never settled down. Though we had some successful business ventures and others that failed it came down to age, health, and a decision it was time to settle down to a real home.

Though I have no objection to an RV life there are a lot of benefits to a real home.
Also we have been gifted this opportunity at this time.

Therefore this was the decision that we made to leave Reno Nevada and go to Springfield Missouri.

We have no clue what is going to happen from here to there!

Things  went from bad to worse with my daughter Sarah losing her twins, and 2 other family members passing from Cancer.

I took a leave of absence and not sure if my employer is going to honor the bonus I was suppose to get on 12/24.

HOWEVER WE ARE STILL GOING SO HERE IS THE PLAN:

So here is our plan and what you can expect from Blogs, Photos and Videos!

I may also put a dash cam in the window for you to follow.

We are planning on renting a travel trailer on December 31st and going to our storage and packing it all up.

Once we do that we are planning on leaving Reno December 31st 2019.

We are taking a longer route along the lines of going South to avoid winter weather.

This will bring us through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and a small stop in Arkansas, than ending up in Springfield Missouri.
