As many of us do, I like to shop online for the best prices. Free shipping is a huge incentive. I love bargains on Amazon, and eBay.
Recently I tried a new online store. WISH.com. I made a few small purchases, under $10. Well that is how the hackers get you. Make a few small purchases, so that your Bank doesn't suspect a thing. Then you aren't protected.
My account was robbed of $246. To a woman I don't know at a mailbox store in New Castle Delaware. Yes, that is right. She purchased a Kingston Technology HyperX Fury.
I am trying to get my money back. I contact WISH. But I get the run around on their online format. I get an 800 number which directs me to support@wish.com. I contact my bank and they give me (877) 887-7815 which goes to the strip.com company, and the San Francisco number (415) 503- 3654 is no longer in service.
These companies don't want to be held accountable for the illegal transactions made on their sites. Otherwise they would have someone there to help you immediately.
I have to say Amazon is so much more reputable. I can text them to call me. They don't wait, or make you wait either. So why aren't more online companies like this if they want to build a business.
I know one thing. NO MORE WISH.COM for me. I would advise anyone against them.
