Tonight is February seventh, and we are here at the 2018 Reno Bighorns vs. South Bay Lakers. So far, the Bighorns have a season of 19-14 while the Lakers are at 21-12.

The first quarter shoots off with a two-pointer by the Laker's Stephaun Branch in the first minute; shortly followed by a two-pointer by Reno's JaKarr Sampson, briefly tying the score 2-2. Three minutes in, and the Lakers are beginning to take the lead, at 8-11.
That is, until Marcus Williams brings the score to a tie. We see them head-to-head as the Lakers repeatedly score, only to be tied with the Bighorns. As the clock ticks down to four minutes, we see Marcus Williams step to the line, boosting the Bighorns ahead, 22-21. Three minutes to go, and the visiting team has brought the score to 24-27 with the Lakers again in the lead.
One minute to go, and the Bighorns are behind. 27-32 We can see the Reno Bighorns' mascot seated among the spectators, and Gary Payton II has stepped up the line. We have reached the end of our first quarter; with a score of 27-34 in the favor of the South Bay Lakers.
The return of the recliner toss makes it appearance during a break between the first and second quarters; where a select member of the audience tries to win a recliner via making a basket in said chair.
The second quarter begins with a ball hopping away, and a three-pointer shot by the Reno Bighorns. By the ninth minute, the Lakers are still ahead, 34-41. Stephaun Branch has stepped up to the line, shooting two baskets, one of which he misses. Josh Higgin brings up the Bighorn's to a score of 39.
There is 7:50 on the clock, and we are now at 39-44. 6:59, a time-out has been called, and the Reno Bighorns are now only behind by one point, at 43-44. Matt Jones is at the line, shooting one, and he misses. The Bighorns have managed to get ahead with 3:19 on the clock and the score at 49-48.
Marcus Williams seems to be on his game tonight, bringing the score to 51-48 in the favor of the Reno Bighorns and then, again, to 54-48. Josh Higgins from the Lakers has stepped to up the line, shooting two; making both baskets. Matt Jones approaches the line to shoot two as well, rising the Bighorn's ahead 56-50.
We have some cheering for the Reno Bighorns as they forged ahead with one minute remaining and a score of 61-50. The Laker's Travis Wear shoots for two, and misses both baskets. With twenty seconds, we see the Bighorns' Josh Higgins bring the second quarter's final score to 66-55, with the Laker's Scott Machado having shot two at the line.
The Reno Bighorns are determined to keep their lead, with the score at 71-60 as the third quarter begins to tick down. Thomas Bryant steps up to the line, scoring another two for the Lakers. 8:30 on the clock and Will Davis has scored for the Bighorns. The game is at 73-64.
Again, we see Thomas Bryant bring up the Lakers score despite them remaining behind at 73-66. A time-out has been called, and the Reno Bighorns' cheerleaders have taken the court. 6:43 remaining of the third quarter, and the teams are now tied at 73-73. The Lakers' Thomas Bryant brings the Lakers ahead, at 73-75.
The Bighorns step up to the line, bringing them back to a tie. There is less than half of the quarter left and the Lakers are again claiming the lead. Aaron Harrison, of the home team, shoots for two at the line. Demarcus Holland, of the Lakers, shoots for one.
The score is now at 79-80, with the Bighorns at the disadvantage. Andre Ingram, Lakers, is shooting for two at the line. He makes both baskets. JaKarr Sampson scores, and the Bighorns are again in the lead, 84-83. Gary Payton shoots for two. The Bighorns did not keep their lead for very long.
3:02 remains as a time-out as called. We are at 84-85, again in the favor of the visiting team, the South Bay Lakers. This is going to be a close quarter, and maybe even a close game. We are almost out of time; The Bighorns are at 90 while the Lakers are at 88. The third quarter ends with a score of 95-91, the Reno home team maintaintaining their lead.
Alyssa Tomsik wrote quarters 1 to 3 and The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik is writing the 4th quarter. Tonight's game has been a lot of trading in and out players from the Reno Bighorns. The game has been a well fought out battle to this point.
Aaron Harrison scores 2 points and the Lakers miss down court but on the return the Reno Bighorns are unable to score. The Lakers come from behind making it a one point game. The Bighorns foul and is called on David Stockton. The Lakers take advantage and take the lead at 8:40 left in the quarter.
After a time out is called at 7:30 left in the 4th quarter the score is Bighorns 101 and Lakers 98.
Thomas Bryant looks to be injured as he comes off the court for the Lakers team and leaves the game. David Stockton hits a 3 pointer. After a rebound from the Lakers David Stockton hits a 2 pointer and the Lakers take a time out.
Matt Jones has been a leader in this game as he scores another 2 pointer. With 3:07 left in the game the Bighorns call a timeout and the score is Bighorns 109 Lakers 103. Josh Higgins brings 2 points for the Bighorns. Down under 2 minutes it is a 3 point game however Josh Higgins scores 2 points. Lakers take a time out.
Gary Payton of Lakers goes to line after a foul and closes the game back to a 3 point game. Bighorns miss a shot and the Lakers missas well. The fouls come and Bighorns go to the line and miss both shots. A timeout is called by Lakers.
After a great defense Bighorns win 113 to Lakers 110.
