THIS IS OUR STORY:

Annie and I started the KETO LIFESTYLE in 2020 after her brother was diagnosed with diabetes Her brother whose name is Dick Kelley eventually passed away from the disease. Annie was really sick in 2020 and also diagnosed with diabetes. Our fear of what happened to her brother got us investigating what we could do. We had Doctors tell us there was nothing but medications however we found KETO and began to follow the LIFESTYLE.

We all strive to live the healthiest life possible but in a world that grows in technology and pushes medications for easy solutions to solve health issues. However in recent years there has been a small movement towards eating healthy. Many doctors and people from all walks of life have changed the way they eat and the way they look at living healthy.

I don't talk too much about my life and how I am doing health wise going into 6 years of Keto and Carnivore. I am 56 years old. I do not take any medications, I do not have High blood Pressure, Diabetes, Cancer, or any other disease that many people my age have.  I see a lot of people my age spending time going to Doctor appointments and taking medications and I feel grateful to God that he has blessed me with my health.

THE NUMBERS BEHIND DIABETES:

As of 2025 it was estimated that around 40 million people in the US have been diagnosed with Diabetes. This represents about 12% of the population. It is also estimated that 11 million people are living with Diabetes that have not been reported. Also included in the reports it shows another 115 million people are Pre-Diabetic. Reports also show an estimated 1.5 million people are diagnosed with Diabetes per year.

THE HISTORY OF DIABETES:

Diabetes has been documented for over 3.500 years. However it did not become a global health crisis till the 20th century. The CDC actually declared it a Health Epidemic in 1994. In 1776 glucose was found in urine and in 1889 research linked it to pancreas. In 1921 to 1922 insulin was discovered that changed how the diabetes was treated.

HOW IS DIABETES TREATED TODAY IN MODERN TIMES:

As of 2025 it was estimated over 400 million people in the US are taking medication as a treatment. It is also estimated that another 830 million people went untreated in 2025. As of today reports show 150 people worldwide take insulin, and in the US it is estimated around 8.4 million people take insulin.

HOW YOU CAN REVERSE OR PREVENT TYPE 2 DIABETES WITHOUT MEDICATION:

The sad truth is in our modern society the health professionals are trained to treat the issues and not cure them. Though recently more and more people are jumping into what's deemed as alternative lifestyles.

The truth is you can prevent or even reverse Type 2 Diabetes.

You do not need medications to treat Diabetes it can be prevented and reversed by simple life changes in how you consume your food. 

KETO or the KETOGENIC LIFESTYLE HAS BEEN RESEARCHED AND PROVEN TO PREVENT OR REVERSE TYPE 2 DIABETES:

Next time you visit your HEALTH PROFESSIONAL maybe you should ask them about KETO. Research has proven that a KETO Lifestyle can prevent or reverse Type 2 Diabetes. Over 60 percent of people that had been using insulin no longer needed to take it when living the Keto Lifestyle. Though you will not find many Health Professionals who will lead you on this path. Today in our modern society health professionals push medications and not natural ways to treat or even reverse Diabetes.

It actually is pretty simple with changing your diet, doing light to moderate physical activities, managing your weight,  changing lifestyle habits like smoking or drinking alcoholic beverages,  and moderating your health through health professionals that support your journey to better health.
