Annie and I would like to thank all the people that have been a part of HEALTHY FOOD 4 HEALTHY LIFE for 2024. Annie and I started our Keto/Carnivore change over 5 years ago.

We decided to share our story invite people into our life and offer support for anyone that wanted to change to be HEALTHIER and HAPPIER just by changing how you eat.

Anything you do in life however comes with challenges and Annie and I have through the years had challenges with our health and the way we choose to eat our food. I can say we not only changed our lives but we researched and studied nutrition. We documented our story through blogs.

I tried some different challenges this year including a 5 day Egg Challenge, 30 days of just meat challenge, and  a few other challenges. This year for me has been a weird year for me. So in 2023 I documented my entire year and I documented what I ate daily, I also documented my weight daily

From Jan 2023 to the end of December 2023 my weight stayed from 207 to 213. In Jan 2024 my weight changed and I have spent the entire year attempting to understand why. This year since Jan 2024 to the end of December 2024 my weight stayed from 213 to 217. I never changed anything as far as the way we eat. The only difference is I started walking everyday with my dogs. We walk about 1 mile everyday. However I would think k that would lead to weight loss not gain. Of course I could be losing fat and gaining muscle and that would cause a small weight gain. This is due to muscles weighing more than fat.

I still have not pin pointed the weight change however because my health, my energy, my sleep, and everything else has pretty much stayed the same. Annie and I often discuss changes in our health including weight changes. I have not been documenting it this year however.

For 2024 Annie also experienced changes in weight even though she will never reveal her weight to me, She also saw an increase in the weight this year. So this is really interesting considering Annie has been doing strictly Carnivore. We discussed reasons for this made changes and adjusted our food intake.

So the only thing we can come up with is changes in life because we took on 2 children 6 and 2. This happened in July 2024. We feel maybe the stress of the children daily in our life may have caused our bodies to produce weight gain. Stress can cause your body to build fat cells and even though you eat the best foods, and are doing all the right things for your health stress can create health issues as well.

In January 2025 Annie and I are planning to join our community doing strictly CARNIVORE for the month of January. I am not sure I may still go back to Keto after that but Annie is planning on staying Carnivore.
