Adventures with The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik (Mark Twain River Boat)
This week Annie and I adventured to a small town in Missouri called Hannibal, Missouri.
We left Saturday morning very early as it is a 3 1/2 hour drive to Hannibal. We made a few stops listed and links below including Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City, Mexico, and arrived in Hannibal later in the afternoon.
We stopped at LAKE OF THE OZARKS.
We walked around the event and returned to our hotel for a small rest before the MARK TWAIN RIVERBOAT RIDE. This was a great experience the boat is docked on the Mississippi River in Hannibal.
You go through the gift shop tickets run from $30 for a scenic tour to $50 for the dinner cruise. We did the dinner cruise. Once entering the ship the staff offers a photo and you are seated at a table on the boat. The boat had three levels. The bottom level had the band, bar, restrooms and seating, the second level had more seating and table areas, and the third deck was open with many chairs on the deck to sit on, along with the Captains quarters that operate the boat.
There is a small spill given for the safety of the guest, the boat leaves and the staff serves tea and water. A buffet is offered and guest are asked to only go through the line one time. The food offered was salad, potato salad, pathos, beef, chicken, and green beans. They only serve the food on the first and second decks,
Also after the meal a dessert is offered. The band played a variety of music and took requests . The boat travels about 1 mile up and down the river only going 12 MPH. It takes about TWO HOURS.
It was beautiful however and the experience was great!
Annie and I ended the day and planned out our Sunday. On Sunday we checked out the LIGHT HOUSE
We drove across two bridges four times doing videos you can find on ADVENTURES WITH THE OUTLAW on YOUTUBE!
