INSIDE/OUT MISSOURI a weekend through Clinton, Sedalia, and Warsaw

This weekend Annie and I traveled through several towns in Missouri.

This trip was on April 20th and 21st 2014.

So Annie and I are working on something new. We bought a 2005 Denali and we decided to pack all our camping equipment in it. We already had a lot of camping equipment but this trip we decided to spend the night in the Denali. We also took our 3 dogs Trixie, Trip, and Nellie.

STARTED ON SATURDAY MORNING:

We drove to Clinton Missouri a town that is about  1/2 headed North on I 13. Clinton is one of the points that a trail named Katy Trail starts.

Katy Trail runs across Missouri 240 miles. Katy Trail had many stops and this is only a small area of this trail. We have walked some of the trail in Clinton in the past.

We found a place to camp at Sparrowfoot Campground.

We did pay $20 for the camping space and we spent Saturday evening at the campground. The views on the lake. It was beautiful. I have to tell you the Park Attendant was very awesome!

We got up really early on Sunday and traveled over to a town named SEDIALA

Sedalia is about 55 minutes from Clinton. We picked up the Katy Trail and we walked around downtown. We also checked out several other places. There is a lot to see here. The State Fair is here and there is also a historical downtown area. You want to see some photos and videos click below.

We continued our day down the Katy Trail to a town called WARSAW

Warsaw is a small city on the Osage River. This is a must-see town and Annie took a stroll over the walking bridge. It is absolutely beautiful on the river.

We finished our day driving back to Springfield MO
