You may ask are you a credit expert and what qualifies you to give me advice.
Well lets just say I have had great credit, poor credit and everything in between.
I learned some hard valuable lessons. researched laws, read books, and other peoples blogs to figure this all out.
Am I credit expert?
Yes I would say that I am.
You can get advice from almost anywhere and anyone these days on credit.
Even if you decide I am not a credit expert here are some LESSONS I learned along the way.
Maybe they will help you on your credit journey.
LESSON ONE:
You can legally get ONE FREE CREDIT REPORT PER YEAR.
You are allowed to get a copy of your credit report if you are denied credit.
LESSON TWO:
The three main credit agencies that report our credit are:
Experian,Trans Union, and Equifax.
LESSON THREE:
You can dispute items on your credit report.
You can add legal statements or even letters to your report.
You can block your report so companies have to verify your identity.
LESSON FOUR:
Companies that say they can repair your credit or give you a new credit number are full of it.
Everything these so called Credit Repair Companies do you can do yourself.
So save your money.
LESSON FIVE:
You can get an EIN number but this number is usually used for tax reasons.
You can establish credit with an EIN number but eventually the Credit agencies figure it out.
LESSON SIX:
If you ruined your credit your going to have to fix it.
LESSON SEVEN:
If you have small debts on your report try to pay them off and make sure the credit companies update your report.
If you have larger debts make arrangements in writing show that you can so your working on fixing the issues.
Make sure any debts you pay off or make arrangements for they are reported and updated.
Offer less than the debt is. t
Many debt companies will offer substantial discounts to get the debt paid.

Collection companies have laws and regulations they must legally follow.
LESSON NINE:
Determine how much credit do you really need
Try living without credit or even a cash lifestyle.
LESSON TEN:
Put some money away in a savings account, retirement account, a stock account.
LESSON ELEVEN:
To establish or re establish credit try a secured card that reports to credit agencies.
Use a secured loan at your bank to establish or re establish credit.
LESSON TWELVE:
Do not use pay day loan places or loan companies that have e high rates of interest or do not report to credit agencies.

Research and learn about credit laws and regulations.

Learn how to control your circumstances.
