ARE RENO NEVADA CRAWLS LOSING STEAM ?

It is August 2018 and one thing that has been really popular in Reno is Crawls. However this year is does not seem to be as popular so I have to wounder are the crawls losing steam in the community?

RENO CRAWLS

In the past years I have gone downtown during the crawls to see all the entertainment but this year I did the Super Hero Crawl and Pirate Crawl and it was really disappointing. Though there was a live band at Harrah's Casino there was not a lot of people. In past years the street was closed off on North Virginia Street from about 5th Street down to about 2nd Street. You could hardly walk through casino and tons of people in costumes and music and events going on.

Some of the more popular crawls have always been the Pirate Crawl, Zombie Crawl, and the Santa Crawl.

This year they added a Potter Crawl and Onsie Crawl.

Though crawls are added some of them do not do so well as far as participants and entertainment.
This year it seemed less people and less entertaining things going on during the Pirate Crawl.

It makes you ask if the crawls are losing steam?
