Can IMPACT WRESTLING make a move on the AEW or WWE by The Outlaw Micheal Tomsik

Impact Wrestling has a long history and has been around and struggles to survive for a long time. Currently the company is owned by ANTHEM WRESTLING EXHIBITIONS LLC based out of Nashville Tennessee. 

The company was founded by Jeff Jarrett in 2002 but at the time was known as the NWA (National Wrestling Alliance). In 2004 the company became known as TNA ( Total Nonstop Action).

Impact Wrestling was the second leading entertainment wrestling company following the current WWE World Wrestling Entertainment Company)

From 2010 to 2013 the company was operated by Dixie Carter, Hulk Hogan, and Erick Bischoff.

The company however lost a major television contract in 2014 with Spike TV and the company struggled with financial issues. The Company started to decline with competition from ROH ( Ring Of Honor).

In 2017 the company was purchased by Anthem. 

Since the purchase of the company Anthem has also made a deal with AXS TV that started airing the live shows again on television. Though currently Impact is not on major television stations it is making a name once again.

WWE and AEW have taken over all the major television viewing on channels like USA,FOX, TBS, and TNT. Also the entertainment wrestling industry has exploded over the past several years with many other entertainment companies fighting for the fans and television rights. 

Impact Wrestling works with some other entertainment wrestling companies including the AEW that allows people to follow and find IMPACT WRESTLING. Also not to long ago MIKIE JAMES a former WWE star was allowed to enter the ROYAL RUMBLE on WWE as the IMPACT WOMEN'S TITLE HOLDER at that time. This was the first time WWE ever allowed a wrestler from an outside company to enter into a match.

Today in 2022 IMPACT WRESTLING is working with several other wrestling companies and promoting themselves as well. However to make a move on AEW or WWE is unlikely as the company would need to bring well known talent to the roster, get major television contracts, add more shows on the road, expand media, advertise more, and attract a larger fan base.

The WWE and AEW have primary taken over the wrestling industry as we know it today as they hold the keys to the contracts of major television contracts, pay per views, and have corned the market in media.

However IMPACT WRESTLING is still putting on shows, is still on television, and still has a strong fan base.
