Buc-ee's opened December 11 TH 2023.
Buc- ee's is located on I 44 Exit 84.
Buc-ee's is just on the border of Springfield and Strafford Missouri.
Annie and I ventured out on Saturday 16 TH 2023.here was
The exit was a little backed up with traffic going into the Buc-ee's. Once we got onto the overpass we saw a dog walk around a small pond located near the freeway.
We counted 240 pumps and the parking lot was completely filled.
We parked at pump 218 because we needed gas.
The entire inside was completely full of people it was hard to even walk around the store or even move because of all the people inside the store area.
Once entering there are several food areas, and a large icee and coffee area. There also were large areas for Nuts and candy, and jerky. The entire inside of the store had a large gift shop as well.
I had wanted to go try the famous brisket that is so talked about. However though there are tons of sandwiches lined up and a team of sandwich makers,
You can only buy the brisket by the pound by itself. They offer sliced or chopped but charge more for the chopped. It was $24.99 per pound. I would like to see how it is cooked however because the pound I got was not very flavorful. It was cooked well but Annie my wife did not like it. After reading how the company is famous for the brisket it was a little disappointing for the cost.
We also bought some cashews for $5.99 and this actually seemed to be a good deal for the amount and size of the nuts.
The man I talked to in the sandwich pit was very polite and helpful and was able to answer my questions.
OVERALL MY REVIEW of Buc-ee's : VERY DISAPPOINTING
My review may be a bit tainted due to a few factors:
ONE: It was wall to wall packed with people in the store, and the parking lot was packed.
I will admit the Staff was very FRIENDLY.
